Ceramic Windowsill Planter

A handmade ceramic windowsill planter featuring four individual planting sections connected to a shared sub-irrigation reservoir. Designed for herbs and small houseplants, the built-in fill port makes it easy to add water while the reservoir supplies moisture to the growing media from below.

Description

Bring plants to your windowsill with a handmade ceramic planter designed to make indoor growing simple. This planter combines four individual planting sections with a shared water reservoir, giving herbs and houseplants access to moisture from below while keeping the growing area compact.

How It Works

The planter uses a sub-irrigation system, meaning water is stored beneath the planting sections rather than being poured directly over the plants. As the growing media begins to dry, moisture moves upward from the reservoir and remains available to the roots.

A dedicated fill port makes it easy to refill the reservoir without disturbing the plants. Simply remove the natural cork stopper, add water, and replace the cork.

Because the four planting sections share the same reservoir, the design provides a simple way to maintain more consistent moisture while reducing the need for frequent watering.

Designed for Small-Space Growing

The long, narrow shape was designed with windowsills, kitchen counters, shelves, and other small indoor growing spaces in mind. The four planting sections can be used for herbs, pothos, philodendrons, compact houseplants, or a combination of plants.

Integrated ceramic handles make the planter easier to move and give the piece its distinctive form.

Handmade Ceramic Construction

Each planter is individually handmade from ceramic and finished with a unique glaze. Small differences in shape, glaze coverage, color, and surface texture are a natural result of the handmade process, meaning no two planters will be exactly alike.
